You know what? I’m a Liverpool supporter and Spain NT. To be honest, I fell in love with football because of Fernando. I didn’t know what’d be next but I always stood by his side. I began falling in love with Liverpool and now they’re my favorite club. I developed a spot for Atletico as well. I can only say I was torn and gutted when Fernando left for Chelsea. It would all be over! No more “El Nino” in red. It hit me hard but I decided I’d stand with Liverpool no matter what. 

So I did. But I’ve never liked faking, it’s one of the worst human mistakes over all times. I’m going to be 100% honest when I say I still can’t get over him. Sure, I bash him sometimes and get truly angry at him but he’s human. Can’t expect more if I have my own mistakes. I adore with all my heart Spain’s national team and always will. When he plays, it’s like he’s back for me. He hasn’t changed. There’s the young and fresh Fernando. And I love that feeling.

And god, he’s a legend! The world shall never forget him because he was incredible, maybe not nowadays, but he once was. I swear I will never forget him because it was because of him that I am a football fan now and because I had fallen in love with the sweetest and most amazing football player, some day. Yeah, I think I still love him and would be a dream to meet him! I’m still waiting for that. My love for Liverpool hasn’t changed and for him, it has. But won’t stop. More than anything, my admiration. I know he’s a great man, he’s always been, and now I am not sure if he’s a good football player. He’s got skills, surely, but I’m talking about loyalty. But know something? We all act that way at some point of our lives. Hence I see no point in judging others. My confession is I believe in him. Probably not as a Chelsea player but just as a football player, as a man. As simple as that. As my old Nino. Wish the best for him and his family always!
